Today is World Diabetes Day.
In Armenia, diabetes is the third leading cause of death from various diseases.
Last year, the number of diagnosed cases of diabetes for the first time in lifetime reached 9,146, and the total number of patients was 82,671, of whom the number of patients with type 1 diabetes was 14350, and the number of patients with type 2 diabetes – 68321.
